A short drive from Umhlanga beach and in close proximity to La Lucia Ridge and Umhlanga Ridge business parks. Conveniently close to main road connecting you to the airport, CBD, ICC, sport stadiums, promenade, upmarket shopping centres and many good restaurants. With sweeping views of the Indian Ocean, Ocean Vista is a truly unique property, combining fresh contemporary design with a warm and congenial hospitality.
We cater for the corporate and discerning traveler. Once you have experienced our awe-inspiring views you will want to stay and bask in the stylish serenity.
Whether you are visiting for business or leisure our professional and friendly team will endeavour to make your stay memorable. The concierge desk operated by your hosts brings years of local experience and knowledge, speaking 4 languages: English, Serbo-Croatian, Zulu and Afrikaans and passionate about Durban and South Africa. Our tranquil environment allows you to enjoy your stay with us in the way that suits you - staying in for a business meeting, relaxing in a luxurious setting, letting your body clock re-set to Durban time, sunbathing or doing yoga on the unbeatable upper deck or being active and enjoying the various venues and attractions in Umhlanga and around Durban. Lunch or dinner can be enjoyed at many places close to the guest house and we are always happy to guide you about where to dine and shop and what to see.
We regret no children under the age of 12. As we are a three-storey building Ocean Vista is unfortunately not suitable for physically challenged guests.

Ocean Vista boasts contemporary architecture and a compact interior, with a magnificent top floor communal area and 7 guest suites, specifically designed for panoramic views, serenity and comfort and setting the bar for unpretentious luxury. Accommodating 14 guests at the most ensures an intimate and more exclusive stay.

Ocean Vista is located in close proximity to, and is easily accessable from major business and leisure areas of Umhlanga and the greater Durban area.
